February 2025 Important Announcement
For all exhibitors
It has come to our attention that a few people are showing unwell pigs, for instance Crusty eyes, snotty noses, heavy breathing, this is an infection and no pig must be shown in this condition. Also from the time the infection has been completely cleared up you must wait for at least 6 weeks before showing or selling any pigs in your shed.
If any pig comes to the show in this condition I am afraid the owner will have to remove all there pigs from the Hall.

2022 Club News.
After an awful two years we really hope that Shows will resume in 2022. Our shows are booked for March 12th. June 18th. October 15th. 2022 is the clubs 25th Anniversary we will be doing a special show to celebrate this probably at the June show. We have a really good committee but will always welcome any new committee members, you must be a member and prepared to take on a small job. We have a good hall in Cricklade Town Hall with plenty of space and usually have a really good entry. So come along to check us out it’s a nice day out even if you are not showing.

Due to the increase in cases of Fungal infection on pigs at Shows and in sales pens we have made the decision to strictly adhere to these rules.
If any pig is seen to be infected with Fungal or any other illness these pigs will have to be removed from the hall. Forfeiting you entry fee.
All judges will be asked to be very vigilant and report all cases.
Stewards if you are concerned about a pigs health please discreetly consult the Sec who will deal with any action.
Can we empathise that this is to be discreet.
This is an Animal Welfare issue.
SALE PENS.
IF ANY PIGS HAVE ANY SIGN OF ILLNESS THEY WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE HALL. ALONG WITH ALL THE OTHER SALE PIGS THAT BELONG TO OWNER.
Please do not be offended if this happens it is to safeguard all the pigs health.
